Mon.- 1-19-09 - Dean Lumber install cabinets. Template made for countertop.Will be back Friday to1-23-09 to install. Bob Green installed gutters.Deck railings installed. Mary ordered curtains, blinds and rods.

Diane from Dean Lumber comes to inspect the installers' work.

Tues.- 1-20-09 - Final sanding done in Lockman living room and kitchen. Electricians arrive. Electrical outlets and light fixtures installed.

Memaw makes her first visit to her new house since Halloween.

January 14 & 15

Jan. 14 - Vinyl floor for kitchen and bath installed. Door knobs installed. Sanded third coat of mud in entrance to Memaw's addition. Hand railing on steps from Memaw's to Lockman house installed. Finished ramp on deck.

Jan. 15 - Dean Lumber delivered cabinets.

January 12 - January 13

Jan. 12- Deck begins. Concrete blankets (thanks to Wayne and CMI) placed on framed sidewalk to keep ground warm for concrete delivery tomorrow. They worked great!!

Jan. 13 - Concrete truck arrives and sidewalk is completed. Alot of hand work was done throughout the day.











Lockman kitchen and entrance to Memaw's addition sanded. Third coat of drywall mud applied to both locations.








Vinyl arrives for kitchen and bathroom. Installer requests the roll of vinyl sit overnight in warm environment for installation tomorrow.



Quintin returns in late afternoon to cover sidewalk with concrete blankets. They will remain for a few days.

December 2008- January 8, 2009

Dec. 22-23 - Painters start. Lots of taping and first coat of paint on walls, doors and trim. Shelves were built in closets.





Dec. 29-30 - Painters back to put second coat on walls, doors and trim.



Jan. 2 -Entrance doors painted. Second coat of paint on closet shelves and stairwell to Lockman house.


Jan. 5 - Vinyl and carpet ordered - Confirmed delivery of cabinets and appliances for Jan 15 - Installation set for Jan. 19.


Today, Jan. 8 - Entrance from Lockman house to addition done, first coat of mud applied



Sidewalk framed ready for concrete (weather permitting)
